Self-Paying for Therapy Can Offer Several Advantages for Clients: 

Confidentiality: When you self-pay for therapy, your sessions may not be recorded on insurance statements or medical records, ensuring an extra layer of privacy and confidentiality.
Choice of Therapist: Paying out-of-pocket allows you to choose a therapist based on personal preference rather than being limited to providers within your insurance network. This can be particularly important if you seek a therapist who specializes in a particular area or shares your cultural background.
Flexibility: Self-pay clients often have more flexibility in scheduling appointments and the frequency of sessions. You can work with your therapist to determine a schedule that best meets your needs and preferences.
Quality of Care: Some therapists choose not to accept insurance to focus more on providing quality care rather than dealing with insurance paperwork and restrictions. By self-paying, you may have access to therapists who prioritize providing comprehensive and personalized treatment.
Continuity of Care: Insurance coverage can change, and there may be limitations on the number of sessions covered or the types of therapy allowed. By self-paying, you can ensure continuity of care without disruptions due to changes in insurance coverage.
Investment in Yourself: Paying for therapy out-of-pocket can viewed as investing in your well-being and personal growth. It demonstrates a commitment to your mental health and conveys that you value yourself enough to prioritize your emotional and psychological needs.
Access to Specialized Services: Some therapeutic modalities or specialized services may not be covered by insurance. By self-paying, you can access these services if they align with your needs and goals for therapy.

Sessions. Therapy sessions are scheduled based on your availability and that of the therapist . Please be mindful the initial session can last up to ninety minutes  (1 1/2 hrs) in length; however, all future session will be 50 minutes in length. The fee for the initial session is $250, due at the time of the service; and, $200 thereafter depending on the length of the session. An invoice will be emailed to your for payment prior to the initial session.

Rates (for sessions). All sessions after the completion of the initial session are $200 per 50-minute session, to be paid by the client (or parent/guardian of client) prior to each session. 

Insurance ReimbursementI provide all the necessary paperwork for my clients to be reimbursed by their insurance provider. The majority of my clients receive some form of reimbursement from their insurance. Please call your insurance provider to determine your coverage.

Sliding Scale Fee.  Sliding Scale fees must be preapproved. Please inform me as soon as possible because I do have a limited sliding scale or I can connect you with another therapist to serve your needs.

Payment Options (due prior to starting the session). All Major Credit cards are accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy.  If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact the office to cancel no later than 24 hours in advance. If you fail to notify the office to cancel your appointment, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Rates for Reports (paid prior to receipt of finished documents). 
§ Evaluations ($85 per hour with a required 4 hour minimum; a minimum of 14 day turnaround once all client documents have been received and the evaluative interview(s) is completed. All time exceeding the minimum four hours will incur an additional $85 per hour.
§ Review of Records ($85 per hour with a required 4 hour minimum; a minimum of 14 day turnaround once all client documents have been received and all additional interview(s) completed). All time exceeding the minimum four hours will incur an additional $85 per hour.
§ Reproduction of Records (a minimum of 14 business day turnaround for reproduction and delivery of documents). There is a $25 fee for all transmission of requested documents. All incurred delivery fees (if applicable) will be the responsibility of the requesting party.
